About Cypress Labradoodles

Cypress Labradoodles is a small, family-based Australian Labradoodle breeder in Oakleigh South, Victoria, specialising in multigenerational Australian Labradoodles. 

We are an ALA-registered breeder #0189-25, a member of Responsible Pet Breeders Australia #16154 & operate in accordance with Animal Welfare Victoria regulations source #RB257400.

We are committed to ethical breeding practices- all of our breeding dogs undergo extensive health testing and temperament assessment prior to breeding. This allows us to make informed pairing decisions that support the long-term health, stability & wellbeing of our dogs and puppies.

Our Labradoodle puppies are raised in our home as part of our family. We use Puppy Culture methods & prioritise early socialisation through exposure to everyday household activities, regular human interaction and our family pets. This early foundation supports the development of confident, well-adjusted family companions.

Australian Labradoodles are intelligent, affectionate dogs that thrive in family environments. It is a privilege to raise this breed & place our puppies with families who value responsible breeding & lifelong commitment.

Hi I am Emily! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. 

As a teenager I loved volunteering at my local dog shelter & donkey sanctuary. I continue to enjoy raising money for animal charities & raising awareness about responsible pet care.

When I came to Australia, I began work as an animal welfare attendant at Muswellbrook dog shelter. Working in a high kill shelter gave me insight into the devastating effects of backyard breeding, this sparked my passion for ethical dog breeding.

 Whilst working with all different breeds one in particular stole my heart…the Australian Labradoodle. This led to welcoming our beautiful Chester into our family. A few years later we decided to purchase Mabel, our female Labradoodle. This was the beginning of Cypress Labradoodles. We feel very lucky that we can share our love for the breed & passion for ethical breeding!

Similarly to Emily I grew up around Animals.  Welcoming Chester into our life was one of the best things we ever did. He is just the definition of amazing. The most friendliest, easiest to train & well behaved dog I’ve ever owned. The more people we met with labradoodles, the more our love for the breed grew.

Emily & I fostered cats for around a year, it was here that I got my first experience with labour & raising a litter! Rearing the kittens & ensuring they were adopted into beautiful forever homes was very rewarding.

Our united passion for animal welfare & love of the Australian Labradoodle, are what embarked us on our Cypress Labradoodle journey. Our mission is to produce the healthiest Labradoodles & our promise as responsible breeders is to support you for the life of the dog 🐶
