To say we are passionate about Labradoodles and ethical breeding is a huge understatement. Our main priority is to breed stellar quality pups. The health and well-being of our dogs is our top priority.
As a member of the ALA & RPBA, we are bound by their Rules & Regulations and Code of Ethics . Prior to breeding we health test and analyse the temperament of all our breeding pairs. Our puppies have a 3 year health guarantee and we use Spaysecure, meaning families have until 12 months of age to get the puppies desexed.
Our puppies are well adjusted family pets, that are reared in our loving home using puppy culture methods, They receive gold standard care and are exposed to the day to day home activities & lots of human contact, as well as our family pets for positive early socialisation.
Labradoodles are intelligent, loving dogs, they make wonderful companions. It is an honour to share the love of this breed with many beautiful families.
Hi I am Emily. My partner Chris & I own Cypress Labradoodles.
Animals, particularly dogs & horses have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, my whole family were animal obsessed if I’m honest, so it’s not much of a surprise that my earliest & most treasured childhood memories are of my pets!
I grew up spending every moment I was not at school around animals! Wherever my horse, Pugsley, & I went, my golden retriever, Merlin, wouldn’t be far behind us!
During my teenage years, when I wasn’t at the stables, you would find me working at our local dog kennels, volunteering at the pig farm & assisting the disabled with riding lessons at the donkey sanctuary. I continue to enjoy raising money for animal charity’s & raising awareness about responsible pet care.
When I came to Australia, from the UK, I worked as a veterinary nurse at Clovelly ICU, a part of Scone Equine Hospital. I missed having a dog, at the time I didn’t know my move to Australia would be permanent, so to fill a void I began work as an animal welfare attendant at Muswellbrook dog shelter.
Working in a high kill shelter gave me insight into the devastating effects of backyard breeding & irresponsible pet ownership, this in turn sparked my passion for ethical dog breeding. Whilst working at the shelter I adopted a Labrador (Jasper) and a Husky cross (Jack).
Jasper got lonely when Jack was no longer around so we began to pet sit all different breeds but one inparticular stole our heart…the Australian Labradoodle. This led to welcoming our beautiful red boy Chester into our family. A few years later we decided to purchase Mabel, our female Labradoodle. This was the beginning of Cypress Labradoodles. We feel very lucky that we can share our love for the breed & passion for ethical breeding!
I hope you feel like you know us a little bit more & have an insight into how much we adore animals & what has driven us to become passionate, ethical Labradoodle breeders ❤️ we are grateful to be members of the @australian_labradoodle_assoc
Hi I am Chris! The other half of Cypress Labradoodles!
Similarly to Emily I grew up around Animals. I am from Ireland, my siblings & I were lucky to be brought up with dogs, horses, chickens & reptiles. Growing up I loved Staffordshire Bull Terrier’s but that all changed when I met Emily.
Emily introduced me to her Labrador Jasper & various oodles through pet sitting. Welcoming Chester our red labradoodle into our life was one of the best thing we ever did. He is just the definition of amazing. The most friendliest, easiest to train & well behaved dog I’ve ever owned. I knew moving forward we would never own any other breed. The more people we met with labradoodles, the more our love for the breed grew as they are the most amazing family pets.
Emily & I fostered cats for around a year, it was here that I got my first experience with labour & raising a litter! Rearing the kittens & ensuring they were adopted into beautiful forever homes was very rewarding.
Having both been raised around animals, this is something we wanted to share with our own children. We love raising our two boys in a household filled with love & wagging tails! The bond they have with our dogs & puppies is wonderful.
Our united passion for animal welfare & love of the Australian Labradoodle, are what embarked us on our Cypress Labradoodle journey. Our mission is to produce the healthiest Labradoodles & our promise as responsible breeders is to support you for the life of the dog & provide you with the most balanced & healthiest pups 🐶
Cypress Labradoodles are committed to breeding healthy dogs. All breeding pairs have Hip, Elbow & DNA tests completed.
