We take great care and much time caring for all of our dogs and puppies. We understand your excitement, and we are happy that you are enthusiastic about getting your pup. 

Daily photos, videos and video calls are our way of communicating until we open our home for puppy visits at 6 weeks of age.  For the safety of the pups, we do not allow in person visits prior to the 6 week vaccination to minimise the risk of the pup contracting an infectious disease and to minimise stress for the mother while she is caring for her litter. 

Our puppies are raised in our loving  home as part of the family. They are whelped in the heart of our home which is warm, safe, secure and draft free. They are birthed in the safety of a whelping pen so they do not get squashed, trapped under bedding or become to hot or cold. Mum is given free range of the home and secure garden so she can take time away from her puppies when required to relax or toilet. Within the whelping box is vet bedding which is absorbent so the pups stay dry and all bedding is changed daily at a minimum to prevent harbouring of disease or infection. We have a heat lamp and mat so puppies can access extra warmth if required and the central heating ensures the room temperature is consistently 21 degrees. Puppies and mum is monitored 24/7 for the first 3 weeks of life, temperatures, weights, stool and urine output is recorded daily to ensure the pups are thriving and to allow early detection of any potential medical concerns.  Mum is fed royal canin mother and baby food as recommended by the vet as well as calcium supplement, her milk is checked daily to ensure she has a adequate supply and that all of her nipples are intact and their is no issues that could lead to mastitis. Both the puppies and mother receive gold standard care, love, devotion and attention.

Puppies are continually exposed to every day home activities and noises. They are socialised with our toddler, other dogs, family and friends. We take the time to provide individual care and attention to each of our puppies and begin Early Neurological Stimulation from 3 days of age. While the puppies are with us, we will have started toilet training, crate training and age appropriate puppy training prior to them departing to their forever homes. 

We match puppies to their families by temperament first and foremost. We will take into consideration preferences of gender, coat type and colour however temperament and suitability of the puppy to your family lifestyle comes first.

 Please find below recommended items to purchase for your Australian Labradoodle puppy: 

• A large crate, a cosy pet bed that fits inside your washing machine & puppy pads 
• If necessary a stairgate - stair use should be limited to protect their joints.
• Age appropriate chew toy
• Food and water bowls
• Small collar and lead, poo bags, car restraint 
• Age appropriate veterinary endorsed treats for training 
• Basic first aid kit, such as the St Johns Pet Kit
• Ear cleanser 
• ​Slicker brush & metal comb
• Detangler, we recommend Cowboy Magic
• Large towels  I use larger beach towels
• Puppy Shampoo & conditioner

Yes, every breeding dog is hip and elbow tested, as well as DNA tested with a full breed genetic profile. All of our puppies have a 3 year health guarantee.

Worming: Cypress Labradoodle puppies are wormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks using Drontal worm syrup.  This should be repeated at 10 and 12 weeks, and then monthly thereafter, If you opt to change to a different brand please follow that brands specific instruction. The choice of brand is something that should be personally researched, and discussed with your vet.  

Vaccination: Your pup is vaccinated at 6 weeks of age.  This should be repeated at 10-12 weeks, and again 14-16 weeks, followed by annual boosters thereafter.

 At Cypress Labradoodles we are ethical breeders who value honesty and transparency. You will be welcomed into our home where your puppy has been raised. We set up a WhatsApp group for each litter, which each forever family is welcome to join. We enjoy sharing the love of our Cypress Labradoodles and want each family to feel supported throughout their dogs entire lives.
